“They were so shocked.
They were all over the place.
They’re all like, ‘What are you talking about?
This is not right,'” she recalled.
“I told them that it was not right.
That I have my own money, and that I was going to get my own tax refund.
I told them, ‘I’m just not going to sit here and accept that.'”
She also had a message for the other celebrities who had their own tax returns stolen.
“You’re going to pay the same tax rate as everybody else.
I’m not going anywhere,” she said.”
They were like, we’re not sure how you could do this, so we’re going with you,” she added.

After her initial court hearing, the IRS filed a lawsuit accusing Brown of failing to file her returns, claiming the celebrity had misstated her income, and had improperly omitted information on taxes that would otherwise have been included in her return.
She has been accused of using her celebrity status as an excuse to avoid paying her taxes.
“She used her position as a celebrity to hide her tax payments,” the IRS said in its complaint.
While Brown was awarded $2.8 million in damages, she has appealed her ruling. “
By failing to properly file her tax returns, Brown violated the tax laws of the United States.”
While Brown was awarded $2.8 million in damages, she has appealed her ruling.
In March, a federal judge agreed to award Brown $10 million in back taxes.
The IRS also plans to sue Brown over the IRS’s claims that she failed to report the money she received from the Celebrity Cash Fund, which she claimed was a separate legal entity.
Brown was a part of the film industry’s biggest cash cow, starring in the blockbuster film “The Avengers” alongside Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson, but she has been the subject of several scandals since leaving the film.
In 2014, she was accused of sexual misconduct by former model and Playboy Playmate Kate Upton.
In 2015, she pleaded guilty to a felony charge of embezzlement.
Brown’s star was in decline in the early 1990s, and in 2015, her career suffered after a tabloid magazine published nude photos of her.
Brown denied the allegations and was fired from her role in the movie “The Expendables 3,” but she resurfaced in the role of an FBI agent in a 2015 film, “The Circle.”
She had recently finished a TV series called “Dirty Sexy Money,” which she also starred in.
